The friction plate comprises, by weight, 35-45 parts of glass fibers, 30-40 parts of carbon fibers, 10-15 parts of silicon carbide, 15-20 parts of graphite powder, 5-10 parts of kyanite powder, 10-15 parts of potassium hexatitanate whiskers, 10-15 parts of aramid fibers, 10-16 parts of an epoxyresin adhesive, 5-10 parts of a fiber reinforcing agent, 5-10 parts of a process regulator, 5-10 parts of a friction regulator, 3-5 parts of boron nitride and 10-20 parts of bamboo charcoal fibers. The glass fibers, carbon fibers, silicon carbide, graphite powder, kyanite powder, potassium hexatitanate whiskers, aramid fibers, the epoxy resin adhesive, boron nitride and bamboo charcoal fibers areused as raw materials to prepare composite fibers, so the friction plate is high in abrasion resistance and heat resistance, healthy and environmentally friendly, and noise generated during braking is reduced due to the fact that the friction plate does not contain metal materials; and in addition, a production method of the friction plate is simple in process, scientific and rigorous in process,low in production cost and worthy of popularization.
