The invention discloses an ecological retaining wall construction process. The construction process comprises the following steps that a to-be-constructed site is leveled; folded components are carried to the to-be-constructed site and unfolded, so that all the surfaces are flattened; the components are assembled and formed according to the specified folding marks; a face wall gabion is filled with stone; and after stone filling is completed, a cover plate is bundled, geotechnical cloth is placed on the back face of the face wall gabion, structural filled soil filling is conducted, and after filling is completed, the filled soil is leveled through a light bulldozer. The method has the beneficial effects that through implementation of a new process, the construction quality and the construction progress are improved; a greening mode is selected through contrastive analysis of greening modes, and the engineering image is improved; investment optimization is carried out by reducing the occupied area and replacing a masonry retaining wall, so that the total cost of a project is reduced; rib belts are made of high-molecular-weight high-density polyethylene and have good tensile strengthand creep resistance and long-term aging resistance, and the service life is prolonged; and a concrete leveling layer is arranged at the top of the retaining wall to further improve the waterproof effect.
