The invention discloses a brick making process of a porous brick, wherein the process comprises the following steps: S1, weighing raw materials: coal gangue, waste slag and riverway sludge in a weightratio of (22%-28%):(62%-68%):(8%-12%); and S2, raw material treatment: 1) coal gangue crushing: carrying out preliminary crushing and screening on coal gangue by using a coal gangue crusher, re-crushing larger coal gangue particles to obtain coal gangue particles with required sizes, and crushing to obtain two kinds of coal gangue with different particle diameters, namely small-particle coal gangue with the diameter of less than 0.5 mm, and the other kind of smaller-particle coal gangue with the diameter larger than 0.5 mm and smaller than 1.5 mm, wherein the ratio of the small-particle coalgangue to the smaller-particle coal gangue is (65%-70%): (30%-35%) The process has the advantages that the porous brick is produced by taking the coal gangue, the waste slag and the riverway sludge asraw materials, so that the porous brick has the advantages of changing wastes into valuables and recycling the wastes, and meanwhile, the porous brick has the advantages of high strength and strong frost resistance.
