The invention discloses a method for producing aerated concrete blocks from iron tailings and waste granite. The method comprises the steps of (1) preparing the following raw materials in percentage by mass: 20-50% of iron tailings, 20-50% of waste granite, 5-25% of cement, 0.5-2% of lime, 1-5% of titanium gypsum and 0.05-0.1% of aluminum powder paste; (2) stirring and mixing the iron tailings, the waste granite, the cement, the lime, the titanium gypsum and the aluminum powder paste to obtain a mixture, and stirring and mixing the mixture and the water phase to obtain slurry; and (3) pouringthe slurry into a mold, standing to form a green body, and carrying out autoclaved curing after the cutting strength is reached, thereby obtaining a ceramic tile-like product. The method is simple inprocess and easy to implement, the iron tailings and the waste granite can be recycled, the aerated concrete blocks can be stably regenerated, and the purposes of environmental protection and resourcerecycling are achieved.
