The invention discloses a fabricated type building steel bar binding robot. The robot comprises a truss, a transmission system, a truss drive and a binding mechanical arm. The truss is fixedly installed on the ground on an assembly line, and the transmission system and the truss drive are started, so that the binding mechanical arm performs displacement and adjustment in the transverse direction,the longitudinal direction and the vertical direction correspondingly; the transmission system takes gear transmission as a main structure, and finally transmits transmission force to a longitudinal transmission gear; longitudinal displacement and adjustment are completed through rotating fit formed by mutual meshing of the longitudinal transmission gear and a longitudinal rack, vertical displacement and adjustment are completed through rotating fit formed by mutual meshing of a vertical transmission gear and a vertical rack, and transverse position adjustment is completed through rotating fitformed by mutual meshing of a transverse moving lead screw and a transverse moving sliding block; and an electric cylinder installed on the binding mechanical arm pushes and rotates a binding hook tobind fabricated type building steel bars.
