The invention discloses a mountainous area ultrahigh main tower cable-stayed bridge installation method which comprises the steps that a wall-attached crane is arranged on a main tower, and an assembling pier top section and a bridge deck crane are sequentially hoisted by the wall-attached crane; after the wall-attached crane hoists the component on the bridge deck, the component is transferred bythe bridge deck girder transporting vehicle, and a transfer platform is additionally arranged at the sidewalk position of the bridge deck and used for the bridge deck girder transporting vehicle to receive a temporary parking point where the wall-attached crane is lifted to a bridge deck steel beam; bridge deck transferring: the bridge deck precast slabs and the sidewalk integral structure are transported to the front of a bridge deck crane through the lower part of the bridge deck crane, and the beams are taken and erected in front of the bridge deck crane; bridge segment components are hoisted and erected; and pouring a wet joint is poured and a corresponding stay cable is tensioned every time two sections of steel structure beams are erected, the wet joint is maintained to be equal instrength, and then the next round of hoisting erection is carried out until the whole bridge is completely installed and erected, so that the problems that the construction site is insufficient, the deck crane is complex to install, and construction equipment interferes with the stay cable under the special conditions of the stay cable can be solved.
