The invention discloses a durable crucible for preparing metal powder. The durable crucible comprises a crucible body, a liquid separation funnel and a flow guide pipe, wherein the crucible body is used for melting the metal powder; the liquid separation funnel is arranged on the crucible body and is used for guiding metal liquid to a liquid guide pipe; the flow guide pipe is in threaded connection with the bottom of the liquid separation funnel and is used for preparing powder through gas atomization; a protection coating is arranged on the inner wall of the crucible body; and a reinforcing layer and an induction coil layer are arranged on the outer wall of the crucible body. The durable crucible has the following advantages that three reinforcing layers are arranged; a certain expansionspace is given to the crucible body, so that an inner protection layer expands along with the crucible body without influencing the compactness of an outer protection layer; the crack repair is convenient; the reinforcement is realized; the crack occurrence probability is reduced; the metal liquid is prevented from flowing into the induction coil layer through the crack of the crucible body; the reaction of the graphite material crucible and the molten metal alloy liquid is effectively retarded; the crucible body damage due to reaction is reduced; and the circulation service life of the crucible body is prolonged.
