The invention discloses a bridge guardrail device and a construction method thereof, and belongs to the technical field of bridges. Cross beams are arranged on the two sides of a bridge body in the length direction of the bridge body, the two ends of each cross beam are fixed to two banks, guardrails are arranged on the cross beams, and the middles of the cross beams are provided with beam sleeves; at least two span beams are arranged in a bridge arch and penetrate through the bridge arch, the ends of the span beams are connected to the beam sleeves through main pull rods and connected to thecross beams through auxiliary pull rods, and therefore the main pull rods, the auxiliary pull rods and the beam sleeves form a triangular structure; and adjusting rods are further connected to the beam sleeves, and the lower ends of the adjusting rods are connected to the ends of the span beams through supporting rods so that the supporting rods enable the cross beams to abut against the inner wall of the bridge arch. A technical problem that in the prior art, bridge guardrail installation can be completed only by constructing a bridge body or a riverway is mainly solved, and bridge guardrailinstallation can be completed without damage construction of the bridge body or riverway construction by abutting against the inner wall of the bridge arch in the bridge arch and mutual supporting andmutual restraining of the interiors of guardrail devices.
