The invention discloses an auxiliary device for filling a pipe with sand, and relates to the technical field of pipeline filling devices. The auxiliary device comprises a power assembly, movable supporting frames, a lead screw and a sand filling assembly; the movable supporting frames are fixedly installed on the side face of the power assembly; the two movable supporting frames are fixedly connected through the lead screw; the sand filling assembly is in threaded transmission fit with the lead screw; a first supporting sleeve is rotatably matched with the lead screw; and a threaded hole is inthreaded transmission fit with the lead screw. The whole device is arranged at the top of a pre-buried channel; a third motor is started to drive a stirring rod to stir gravel, a fourth motor is started to drive crushing blades to stir and crush the gravel, the gravel with the qualified diameter falls into the pre-buried channel through filtering holes, a hydraulic cylinder is started to drive pressing plates to tamp a filling layer, and a second motor is started to drive the lead screw to rotate, so that the sand filling assembly moves back and forth along the pre-buried channel; and fillingand tamping of a pre-buried pipeline are achieved.
