The invention discloses self-compacting coral lightweight concrete and a preparation method thereof, and belongs to the technical field of building materials, the self-compacting coral lightweight concrete comprises the following components by weight: 350-450 parts of cement, 50-100 parts of fly ash, 30-60 parts of silica fume, 30-50 parts of fly ash floating beads, 750-830 parts of coral sand, 500-560 parts of coral stone, 200-250 parts of water, 1.5-5 parts of water reducer,0.1-1 part of a defoaming agent and 0.01-0.2 part of a thickening agent. According to the concrete, lightweight aggregate coral sand and coral stone are adopted to reduce the density of the aggregate, and fly ash floating beads are adopted to reduce the density of cementing material slurry, so that the density difference between the slurry and the aggregate is reduced while the overall density of the concrete is reduced, and the aggregate is prevented from floating or sinking; the water reducer and the thickeningagent are co-doped, so that the concrete has good workability, and the density of the slurry is further reduced; and the defoaming agent is used for improving the compactness of the cementing materialslurry, so that the strength is improved. The self-compacting coral lightweight concrete prepared from local materials has the characteristics of high flowability, low density and high strength, andmeets the construction requirements of ocean platforms.
