The invention discloses a building hopper capable of preventing a slurry material from overflowing. The building hopper comprises a hopper body, wherein two fixing blocks are fixedly connected to the upper end surface of the hopper body; fixing shafts are fixedly connected to the interiors of the fixing blocks in a penetrating mode; clamping grooves are symmetrically formed in the inner side of the hopper body; sliding strips are connected to the inner sides of the clamping grooves in a sliding mode; the sliding strips are fixedly connected to the two sides of a cover plate; a limiting block and an upper fixing lug are fixedly installed on the other two sides of the cover plate respectively; a flow guide groove and a lower fixing lug are arranged at the positions, opposite to the limiting block and the upper fixing lug, of the top of the hopper body respectively; the flow guide groove is fixedly connected with the side wall of the hopper body; an opening is formed in the connecting part of the hopper body; and the lower fixing lug is fixedly connected to the other side of the hopper body. According to the building hopper, clamping pins are inserted into through holes, the upper fixing lug and the lower fixing lug are fixed, then the cover plate can be fixed, and therefore the situation that the slurry hopper shakes in the slurry conveying process, the slurry overflows, and then the slurry is wasted is avoided.
