The residence smoke exhaust system comprises a smoke exhaust machine installed on a residence roof, oil smoke monitoring equipment installed at a smoke exhaust channel opening of each residence, a big data processing center and a control center. The oil smoke monitoring equipment monitors the oil smoke amount discharged by each residence in real time and feeds back the oil smoke amount to the big data processing center in real time; the big data processing center obtains smoke exhaust parameters required by the smoke exhaust machine in real time according to the oil smoke amount and feeds back the smoke exhaust parameters to the control center in real time; and the control center adjusts the smoke exhauster in real time according to the smoke exhaust parameters so that the smoke exhaust machine can completely exhaust the oil smoke. The big data processing center analyzes the oil smoke amount in real time so as to obtain smoke exhaust parameters, the smoke exhaust parameters are fed back to the control center, and then the control center controls the smoke exhaust machine, so that the smoke exhaust machine completely exhausts all oil smoke with the minimum energy consumption without manpower, and the problems that an existing smoke exhaust system is inconvenient to operate and low in smoke exhaust efficiency are solved.
