The invention discloses a steel slag online hardening and tempering system and a production method thereof. The steel slag online hardening and tempering system comprises: a heat preservation smelting furnace for loading high-temperature steel slag inside; a stock bin which is arranged at an inlet in the upper portion of the steel slag ladle and used for injecting blending raw materials into the heat preservation smelting furnace so that the blending raw materials can be mixed with steel slag to form a molten-state blank; a temperature detector and a component detector which are arranged in the heat preservation smelting furnace; forming equipment which is arranged at an outlet of the heat preservation smelting furnace and used for enabling the molten-state blank to flow through the forming equipment and forming the molten-state blank into the required thickness; cutting equipment which is arranged at an outlet of the forming equipment and is used for cutting the formed blank into a biscuit with a required size; and shaping equipment which is arranged at an outlet of the cutting equipment and is used for cooling or microcrystal annealing of the biscuit to form a building material product. The problem that in the prior art, in the process that steel slag is cooled from the high temperature to the room temperature, energy is not effectively utilized is solved.
