The invention discloses a BIM assisted vertical mill construction method. The invention includes the following steps that firstly, a vertical mill is integrally modeled according to the design size of a vertical mill drawing, the elevation of a concrete surface is determined, and a vertical mill bolt fixing bracket and a bolt in a BIM model are marked in the drawing; through BIM modeling, unclear parts in a design drawing are eliminated, and what marked in the drawing is what needing to be constructed; and through the BIM model and actual process sequence, the construction of vertical mill bolt frames and bottom plate reinforcing steel bars, the construction of bolt assembly frames and the bolts, the construction of framework reinforcing steel bars, the construction of foundation top reinforcing steel bars, bolt correction and upper structure reinforcing steel bar insertion are clear, and finally acceptance check, reinforcement and concrete pouring are conducted. The whole vertical mill construction process is visualized and simulated, and the construction process is optimized, so that technicians and constructors lacking construction experience can accurately construct large equipment foundations such as the vertical mill. Construction is convenient and fast, the quality is reliable, the accuracy and the programming of vertical mill foundation construction are greatly improved, the construction cost is reduced, and the construction period is shortened.
