Mullite-corundum composite ceramic as well as preparation method and application thereof
The invention relates to mullite corundum composite ceramic as well as a preparation method and an application thereof. The method comprises the following steps: (1) mixing fly ash with an alkali solution, carrying out alkali activation treatment to obtain activated fly ash, and carrying out particle size grading on the activated fly ash to obtain activated fly ash with different particle sizes; (2) compounding the activated fly ash with different particle sizes to obtain compounded fly ash, and carrying out a molding process on the compounded fly ash to obtain a ceramic blank; and (3) sintering the ceramic body to obtain the mullite-corundum composite ceramic. According to the invention, through the alkali activation modification process, the firing temperature of the ceramic is significantly reduced, the energy consumption in the ceramic production process can be saved in a large range, the fly ash with different particle sizes is compounded, so that the ceramic is close to the most compact state during molding, and the ceramic sintered in the state can achieve significant improvement of the strength of the ceramic.
本发明涉及一种莫来石‑刚玉复合陶瓷、其制备方法和用途。所述方法包括如下步骤:(1)将粉煤灰与碱溶液混合,进行碱活化处理,得到活化粉煤灰,然后将所述活化粉煤灰进行粒度分级,得到不同粒级颗粒的活化粉煤灰;(2)将所述不同粒级颗粒的活化粉煤灰进行复配,得到复配后粉煤灰,将所述复配后粉煤灰进行成型过程,得到陶瓷胚体;(3)将所述陶瓷胚体烧结,得到莫来石‑刚玉复合陶瓷。本发明通过碱活化改性过程,使得陶瓷的烧成温度显著降低,可大范围节省陶瓷生产过程中的能耗,并且通过将不同粒级的粉煤灰进行复配,使得陶瓷在成型时接近最致密状态,以此状态烧结的陶瓷,可实现陶瓷强度的显著提升。
