The present invention relates to the technical field of castable, and discloses a corundum-mullite gel composite wear-resistant castable, which comprises the following raw materials by weight: 500-800 parts of corundum particles, 150-280 parts of mullite powder, 150-260 parts of aluminum titanate, 70-150 parts of oxide micro-powder, 10-50 parts of a composite binder and 1-5 parts of a composite anti-explosion agent, and the particle diameter of the corundum particles is 5-10 mm. According to the corundum-mullite gel composite wear-resistant castable and the preparation method thereof, the corundum particles, the mullite powder, the aluminum titanate and the oxide micro powder are mixed and then poured into the castable, then the castable is punched, then the punched castable is intermittently baked, and the baked and formed castable is outstanding in wear resistance and good in wear resistance.
