The invention discloses a fireproof flame-retardant board and a preparation method thereof. The fireproof flame-retardant board is characterized by comprising the following components: 10-15 parts of sepiolite fiber powder, 10-15 parts of perlite, 5-8 parts of calcined kaolin powder, 3-5 parts of mineral attapulgite, 40-45 parts of inorganic high-temperature-resistant diamond powder, 10-12 parts of nanoscale silicon powder, 3-6 parts of a water repellent, 10-12 parts of deionized water, 5-8 parts of bentonite, 1-2 parts of polypropylene fibers, 35-40 parts of an inorganic binder, 5-10 parts of an organosilicon waterproofing agent, and 15-20 parts of an acrylic polymer. The fireproof flame-retardant board has the advantages that density is low, mass is small, and heat insulation performance is good; after being burnt for 1 hour at a high temperature of 1040 DEG C, the flame-retardant board does not burst, pulverize or generate toxic smoke; in a humid environment, the board does not generate alkali and is non-corrosive; and installation and use of the board are simple, toughness of the board is high, and the fracture resistance of the board is higher than the fracture resistance of a common inorganic heat-preservation fireproof board.
