The invention discloses a main structure floor deformation joint structure and a construction method thereof. The main structure floor deformation joint structure comprises two floor plates, a concrete reverse ridge, a corner protection plate, a mounting plate, a water stop steel plate and a cover plate, wherein a deformation joint is formed between the two floor plates; the concrete reverse ridge is formed at the poured upper part of one floor plate by pouring; the side, close to the deformation joint, of the concrete reverse ridge is flush with the end face of one floor plate; the corner protection plate is attached to the corner part of the upper part of the other floor plate; the mounting plate is pressed against the side, close to the deformation joint, of the concrete reverse ridge, and extends towards the corner protection plate to form a supporting plate; the water stop steel plate is arranged in the deformation joint; the first side of the water stop steel plate is connected to the corner protection plate, and the second side of the water stop steel plate extends upwards to the side, close to the deformation joint, of the concrete reverse ridge and is arranged between the concrete reverse ridge and the mounting plate in a cushioned mode; and the two opposite sides of the cover plate are placed on the supporting plate and the corner protection plate respectively. The deformation joint structure solves the problem that the side, close to a vertical structure wall body, of a traditional deformation joint structure cannot be fixedly mounted due to the fact that the vertical structure wall body exists on the floor plate in a deformation joint of the main structure floor plate.
