The invention discloses foamed light soil for backfilling waste petroleum pipelines. The foamed light soil is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 0 to 400 parts of cement, 100 to 1000 parts of admixture, 200 to 500 parts of water, 0 to 10 parts of reinforcing agent, 0.1 to 2 parts of retarder and 0.3 to 2 parts of foaming agent, the preparation method comprises the following steps: (1) weighing the raw materials; (2) mixing and stirring cement, the admixture, water, the reinforcing agent and the retarder for 2-5 min at the speed of 50-150 r/min to obtain a composite slurry; (3) foaming a foaming agent to obtain foamed foam, and stirring and mixing the foamed foam with the composite slurry; and (4) carrying out cast-in-place or factory prefabrication. The product is high in internal closed porosity, good in heat preservation, heat insulation and sound insulation performance and good in filling self-compaction performance; the retarder can be widely applied to admixtures, the problem of solid waste utilization is solved, hydration is reduced, and the purpose of delayed coagulation pouring is achieved.
