The invention discloses a rotary lifting type bridge inspection vehicle which is used for bridge inspection and maintenance and comprises a truss, and the truss comprises a top fence, a vertical ladder and a base which are integrally arranged; the walking mechanism is rotationally mounted on the top fence through a slewing mechanism; the slewing mechanism comprises a support frame, a driving device and two connecting plates; the two sides of the supporting frame are fixedly connected with a walking support of the walking mechanism and the top fence through the two connecting plates respectively. The driving device is fixedly mounted on the top fence; the gantry vehicle body horizontally penetrates through the vertical ladder and vertically moves on the vertical ladder through a lifting mechanism. The rotary lifting type bridge inspection vehicle has the functions of rotating to pass through piers and lifting up and down, obstacle avoidance is achieved through rotation, and inspection and maintenance of the whole bridge can be achieved through ascending and descending of the vehicle body.
