The invention discloses a non-combustible fireproof insulation board which comprises the following components in percentage by weight: 90-95% of an inorganic flame retardant, 0.5-1.5% of a binder and 3-10% of polystyrene powder. The preparation method comprises the following steps: S1, dissolving a binder in water to form a binder solution for later use, wherein the concentration of the binder solution is 1-10%; S2, uniformly spraying the obtained binder solution on the surface of an inorganic flame retardant, then adding polystyrene powder, conducting stirring, and conducting drying after uniform stirring, so as to obtain coated polystyrene particles for later use; and S3, foaming the wrapped polystyrene particles obtained in the previous step in high-pressure water vapor for 1-6 hours, conducting standing and aging at normal temperature for 24-144 hours, and finally performing compression molding to obtain the non-combustible fireproof insulation board. The prepared insulation board is good in thermal insulation and energy-saving effect, low in water absorption rate and long in service life.
