The invention relates to a basement capable of reducing the floor height by overall planning of a pipeline laying channel. The basement comprises a beam plate structure; a first pipeline laying channel and a second pipeline laying channel are arranged below the beam plate structure; the first pipeline laying channel and the second pipeline laying channel are arranged in different structural spans and are not overlapped in the vertical direction; a first pipe set is installed in the first pipeline laying channel, and a second pipe set is installed in the second pipeline laying channel; and the first pipe set is formed by combining a fire-fighting spraying pipe, an auxiliary pipeline and a ventilation pipeline. According to the technical scheme, the height of a structural layer and the height of a pipeline layer are mutually meshed, the height difference in the structural layer is fully utilized, the height of the pipeline layer is hidden or half hidden within the height of the structural layer, and according to a method, the basement floor height is calculated according to a formula that the basement floor height is equal to the sum of the comprehensive height of the structural layer and the pipeline layer and the clear height of the basement, so that the basement floor height is effectively reduced, the construction cost and the construction period are saved.
