The invention relates to the field of farmland irrigation, in particular to a farmland water inlet and drainage device. The farmland water inlet and drainage device comprises a planting area, a water retaining wall and a drainage channel, wherein the water retaining wall is located at the outer edge of the planting area and used for preventing water in the planting area from flowing outwards, overflow holes are formed in the water retaining wall, a reservoir is arranged at the bottom of the drainage channel, a drainage passage communicating with the reservoir is formed in the bottom surface of the drainage channel, and a water conveying assembly used for irrigating the middle planting area is arranged in the reservoir. When it rains, rainwater falling into the drainage channel enters the reservoir through the drainage passage, meanwhile, rainwater flowing out of overflow holes in the water retaining wall can flow into the reservoir through the drainage channel and the drainage passage, and rainwater collection is facilitated; and during drought, the water conveying assembly can convey water in a water storage tank into the planting area, so that plants in the planting area can be irrigated conveniently, and full utilization of rainwater is realized.
