The invention provides a modular data center room and a construction method thereof. The modular data center room comprises an IT module room and an air conditioner room. The IT module room and the air-conditioning room are separated through a first wall body, the IT module room comprises a cold pool and a hot air return layer, the cold pool and the hot air return layer are separated through an interlayer, the first wall body is provided with a first opening and a second opening, the cold pool communicates with the air-conditioning room through the first opening, and the hot air return layer communicates with the air-conditioning room through the second opening; a wiring bridge is arranged on the upper side of a cabinet accommodating cavity; and the interlayer is provided with a third opening, a placing frame channel is located below the third opening, and the cold pool communicates with the hot air return layer through the placing frame channel and the third opening. Meanwhile, a ceiling frame is integrated, a floor suspended ceiling is not needed, a quick assembly mode is adopted between a ventilation wall and the IT module room, the problems that a traditional construction technology and products are tightly connected with a building, the field installation work amount is large, and elastic adaptation and flexible deployment cannot be achieved are solved, the construction difficulty is lowered, and the assembly quality is improved.
