The invention relates to the technical field of building materials, in particular to a high-silicon iron tailing autoclaved aerated concrete slab and a preparation method thereof. The high-silicon iron tailing autoclaved aerated concrete slab comprises the following components in percentage by weight: 40-45% of iron tailings, 4.5-5.5% of fly ash, 5.0-6.0% of lime, 9.0-10.0% of cement, 2.5-3.5% of glass slag, 1.0-1.5% of gypsum, 0.04-0.06% of aluminum powder, 0.02-0.03% of graphene and 30-35% of water. The preparation method comprises the following steps: (1) preparing slurry; (2) processing reinforcing steel bars and assembling a mesh cage; (3) conducting pouring; (4) performing foaming and standing; and (5) carrying out autoclaved curing. The high silicon iron tailing autoclaved aerated concrete slab is low in cost, high in strength, strong in durability, good in thermal insulation performance and low in volume weight.
