Zirconium silicate composite ceramic roller and preparation method thereof
The invention discloses a zirconium silicate composite ceramic roller and a preparation method thereof. The ceramic roller is prepared by blending and pressing modified zirconium silicate particles and reinforced fibers, wherein the modified zirconium silicate particles are treated by a modifier, so an island-shaped structure is deformed, and a [SiO4] tetrahedron and a [ZrO8] dodecahedron are separated. SiO2-Al2O3 composite oxide has a more stable structure; the [SiO4] tetrahedron and an [AlO6] octahedron form a closely connected spherical structure under a certain condition through control of an additive; the spherical structure is newly compounded with the [ZrO8] dodecahedron to form a ring [ZrO8] dodecahedron island-shaped structure, and the island-shaped structure of zirconium silicate is not changed; and thus, the high temperature resistance, wear resistance and toughness of the roller are improved. A heptadecafluorodecyl base layer on the surface of a reinforced fiber is a hydrophobic layer, so the ceramic roller can be effectively prevented from absorbing moisture in air, and cracks of the ceramic roller during use are avoided.
