The invention discloses high-performance shotcrete and a construction method thereof, and belongs to the technical field of tunnel construction, the shotcrete comprises the following raw material components by weight: 0.8-1.5 parts of cement; 2-2.5 parts of fine aggregate; 1.5-2 parts of coarse aggregate; 0.1-0.2 part of silicon powder; 0.01-0.02 part of a water reducing agent; 0.04-0.05 part of a curing agent; 0.04-0.05 part of an accelerator; and 0.4-0.45 part of water. The construction method comprises the following steps: S1, preparation before spraying: treating a sprayed rock surface to remove floating dust and rock debris on the sprayed rock surface; s2, concrete stirring and transportation: stirring the concrete through a full-automatic metering forced type stirring machine; conveying the stirred mixture to a construction site through a concrete transportation tank truck; and S3, spraying operation. The problem that the springback amount of existing sprayed concrete is high is solved.
