The invention provides a method for installing and positioning a middle-buried steel-edged water-stop belt. The method comprises the steps that longitudinal structural ribs, transverse structural ribs and reinforcing ribs are installed; the reinforcing ribs and the longitudinal structural ribs are connected through the two reinforcing ribs to form a triangular structure in a surrounding mode; a steel bar structure is bent into an inverted-T-shaped frame structure, and a blocking strip is installed on the first side edge; the bottom of a positioning hoop shaped like the Chinese character 'ri' is fixed to the installed lower-layer longitudinal structural ribs and transverse structural ribs, and the lower side protruding connecting corners of the positioning hoop shaped like the Chinese character 'ri' are fixed to the lower side reinforcing ribs; and the middle-buried steel-edged water-stop belt is installed on the positioning hoop shaped like the Chinese character 'ri', the two transverse edges are crossed, the arc-shaped clamping parts are adopted to clamp the strip-shaped ribs of the middle-buried steel-edged water-stop belt, and the top of the positioning hoop shaped like the Chinese character 'ri' provided with the middle-buried steel-edged water-stop belt is fixed to the installed upper-layer structural ribs and reinforcing ribs.
