The invention discloses a construction method for a deep foundation pit fertilizer trough waterproof protection layer. The construction method for the waterproof protection layer comprises the steps that when construction of a foundation pit outer wall waterproof layer is completed, a foam board is installed on the outer side of the outer wall waterproof layer to complete covering of the outer wall waterproof layer, and therefore construction of the waterproof protection layer is completed. According to the construction method for the waterproof protection layer, the sandwich foam board is used for replacing a conventional brick masonry to protect the outer wall waterproof layer, the construction safety is guaranteed to the maximum extent, the operation efficiency is improved, and the cost is reduced.
