The invention relates to a masonry structure reinforced by an external angle steel frame corner post and a construction method thereof. The masonry structure comprises external angle steel, an external angle steel ring beam and an angle steel frame; the external angle steel is tightly attached to a wall body and a prefabricated floor to be installed along the inner side of a masonry structure outer wall, meanwhile, the external angle steel is parallelly arranged corresponding to the outer side of the masonry structure outer wall and tightly attached to the wall body to form a closed whole, and the external angle steel ring beam is formed; the angle steel frame is composed of external angle steel and an angle steel frame protection plate; the angle steel frame protection plate is welded on the angle steel frame and is used for enhancing the tensile strength of the corner part of the masonry structure outer wall; and the joint of the angle steel frame and the external angle steel ring beam is welded. The construction method has the most remarkable advantages that the corner positions of the masonry structure are reinforced through the external angle steel frame corner post, the shear bearing capacity can be improved by 10%-20%, and wet operation does not exist on site, and meanwhile the construction method has the advantages of being small in engineering amount, high in construction progress, low in engineering cost and the like.
