The invention relates to the technical field of concrete, and particularly discloses light recycled concrete and a preparation method thereof. The light recycled concrete is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 200 to 330 parts of cement, 50 to 90 parts of fly ash, 600 to 750 parts of pottery sand, 160 to 210 parts of silica fume, 150 to 180 parts of water, 20 to 90 parts of rice hull ash, 20 to 50 parts of hybrid fiber, 330 to 400 parts of fine aggregate, 580 to 630 parts of recycled coarse aggregate, 50 to 80 parts of modified waste rubber powder and 5 to 10 parts of polycarboxylic acid water reducing agent. The preparation method comprises the following steps: mixing and stirring the cement, the fly ash, the ceramsite, the silica fume, the rice hull ash and the hybrid fiber, adding the water and the polycarboxylic acid water reducer, stirring, adding the other raw materials, and stirring to obtain the light recycled concrete. The light recycled concrete provided by the invention has the advantage of better strength through the synergistic effect of the raw materials.
