The invention relates to black zirconia ceramic which comprises the following phases in percentage by weight: 3.5-48wt% of tetragonal phase zirconia, 32-76.25 wt% of ZrSiO4 and 16.5-27wt% of spinel black pigment, the chemical formula of the spinel black pigment is [CoeNifMngZnhMg (1-e-f-g-h)] [FexCryAl (1-x-y)] 2O4, 0 < = e < = 1, 0 < = f < = 1, 0 < = g < = 1, 0 < = h < = 0.5, 0.5 < = e + f + g < = 1, 0 < = x < = 1, 0 < = y < = 1, 0 < = y < = 1, 0 < = y < = 1, 0 < = y < = 1, 0 < = y < = 1, 0 < = y < = 1 0 < = x < = 1, 0 < = y < = 1, 0 < x + y < = 1; wherein the tetragonal zirconium oxide is a solid solution formed by yttrium oxide, niobium pentoxide and/or tantalum pentoxide and zirconium oxide, and based on the element content of the zirconium oxide composite ceramic, the weight percentage of yttrium is 1.2-5.5%, and the weight percentage of niobium and/or tantalum is 0.6-4%. The black zirconia ceramic is low in dielectric constant, good in toughness, light in weight and easy to process.
