The invention discloses an anti-cracking porous ceramic material and a preparation method thereof. The ceramic material is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 30 to 40 parts of potassium feldspar, 20 to 30 parts of albite, 3 to 5 parts of manganese mud, 8 to 12 parts of yellow mud, 3 to 5 parts of talc, 0.2 to 0.4 part of silicon carbide, 0.4 to 0.6 part of adhesive, 0.2 to 0.4 part of interface agent, 0.5 to 1 part of plant ash and 0.8 to 1 part of titanium dioxide. Silicon carbide is used as a foaming material, and manganese mud is added at the same time. The porous ceramic material prepared from titanium dioxide, an adhesive, plant ash and other raw materials has greatly improved fire resistance, and reduces the phenomenon of internal cracking of pores; the physical and chemical properties of the ceramic are enhanced through aging treatment, and the surface layer of the ceramic is coated with an interface agent, so that the anti-cracking capability of the ceramic is further enhanced.
