The underwater garbage cleaning robot comprises a base; the walking devices are arranged on the two opposite sides of the base; the first garbage recycling device and the second garbage recycling device are detachably arranged on the base in parallel; each of the garbage collection bin and the garbage collection bin is provided with a garbage suction pipeline and can suck garbage, crush the garbage and store the garbage; the garbage recognition device is arranged on the base and can recognize garbage types; and the control device is connected with the garbage recognition device, the first garbage recycling device and the second garbage recycling device and can start the corresponding garbage recycling devices according to the types of the garbage.
