The preparation method of the lightweight thermal-insulation aerated building block comprises the following steps: step 1) uniformly mixing water, a thickening agent and acetone to obtain an acetone solution; 2) adding cement, fly ash, lime and sand into an acetone solution, and uniformly mixing to obtain a mixed material; the method comprises the following steps of (1) preparing a mixture, (2) adding the mixture into a mold, (3) pouring the mixture into the mold to form a blank body, (4) heating and steam-curing the blank body for 120-130 minutes at the steam-curing temperature of 48-49 DEG C, (5) raising the steam-curing temperature to 54.5-55 DEG C and steam-curing for 80-85 minutes, (6) raising the steam-curing temperature to 60-61 DEG C and steam-curing for 5-6 hours, and (7) demolding to obtain the lightweight heat-insulating aerated building block.
