An assembly type formwork for a bridge substructure comprises an upper-layer unit piece, a lower-layer unit piece and a connecting unit piece, the lower end of the upper-layer unit piece is connected with the upper end of the lower-layer unit piece through a bolt, the upper-layer unit piece comprises an upper-layer plane frame and an upper-layer surrounding purlin, the upper-layer plane frame is connected with the upper-layer surrounding purlin through a bolt, and the upper-layer plane frame is connected with the upper-layer surrounding purlin through a bolt. The upper-layer unit pieces are connected with the corners of the upper-layer unit pieces through the connecting unit pieces; the lower-layer unit piece comprises a lower-layer plane frame and a lower-layer enclosing purlin, the plane frame and the lower-layer enclosing purlin are connected through bolts, and the lower-layer unit pieces are connected through the connecting unit pieces at the corners. Bridge bearing platforms of different sizes can be built by splicing different numbers of the upper layer unit pieces, the lower layer unit pieces and the connecting unit pieces, and the bridge bearing platform is suitable for being used by most bridge bearing platforms.
