The invention discloses a fastener elastic strip looseness identification system and method, and particularly relates to the technical field of railway infrastructure detection.The fastener elastic strip looseness identification system comprises a frame installed at the top of a rail assembly, and the rail assembly comprises steel rails arranged on the two sides and sleepers installed between the two steel rails; the bottom ends of the steel rails are mounted on the sleepers through screw spikes and fastener elastic strips; the two ends of the frame are each provided with two infrared camera devices used for monitoring, an excitation device used for striking is arranged between the two infrared camera devices, and a walking part device capable of walking is arranged between the two excitation devices. The infrared camera device is used for collecting the vibration heat in the vibration process of the fastener elastic strip, whether the fastener elastic strip is loosened or not is judged according to whether the vibration heat is abnormal or not, and therefore potential safety hazards caused by loosening of the infrared camera device can be avoided; a worker only needs to push the frame to move on the top of the steel rail, the fastener elastic strip can be automatically detected, and the working efficiency is high.
