The invention provides a nano-material ceramic ball as well as a preparation method and application thereof, and belongs to the technical field of fuel modification. The ceramic ball comprises the following raw materials in parts by weight: 1-30 parts of nano titanium dioxide, 1-30 parts of nano zirconium dioxide, 1-30 parts of nano tourmaline and 1-30 parts of kaolin. The preparation method comprises the following steps: mixing a first part of kaolin and water, twisting into soft balls, and baking to obtain ball cores; mixing the second part of kaolin, nano titanium dioxide, nano zirconium dioxide and nano tourmaline, and premixing to obtain a premixed material; mixing the ball core, water, an adhesive and a premixed material, and rounding to obtain a nano material; and baking the nano material to obtain the nano material ceramic ball. The ceramic ball can greatly improve the combustion efficiency of fuel, and the functional requirement of saving energy is met.
