The invention discloses an assembly type bank protection component and a construction method thereof. The assembly type bank protection component comprises an embankment mounting part, and a plurality of pile grooves are formed in the top of the embankment mounting part; the pile groove is internally provided with a plurality of prefabricated pile bodies, the position, close to the embankment mounting part, of the front side of each prefabricated pile body and the position, close to the embankment mounting part, of the rear side of each prefabricated pile body are fixedly connected with pile body pressing blocks correspondingly, and the pile body pressing blocks are connected to the upper surface of the embankment mounting part in a pressed mode; a through hole is formed in the middle of the top of each prefabricated pile body. The two ends of the prefabricated plate can be rapidly connected with the two adjacent prefabricated pile bodies through the mounting grooves, then concrete materials are injected into the second reserved grouting grooves, the prefabricated plate and the prefabricated pile bodies are connected in a sealed mode, the bank protection component is formed, the needed concrete amount is far smaller than that of a traditional structure needing a large number of concrete steel bars to be formed in a cast-in-place mode, and the construction efficiency is greatly improved. Construction is fast, the construction period is shortened, and workers can conveniently install bank protection components.
