The invention discloses a long-distance underwater transportation method for an immersed tube. The long-distance underwater transportation method comprises the steps that S1, preparation work before entering water is carried out after immersed tube sections are prefabricated; s2, water is injected into the dock, the immersed tube floats under the action of buoyancy, and the immersed tube is undocked; s3, the towing barge tows the immersed tube to carry out floating transportation in the shallow sea area along the navigation channel; s4, after the towing barge tows the immersed tube into the deep sea area, the immersed tube is towed to the installation position; s5, before the immersed tube enters the mounting position, the immersed tube floats upwards, and after the immersed tube floats upwards, freeboard height adjustment and towing cable adjustment are conducted; and S6, the towing barge tows the immersed tube to float to a designated installation position along the channel, and mooring is carried out after basic positioning. By means of the mode that the immersed tube sections dive to be transported underwater, damage of deep sea extreme environment loads to the structure in the transportation process is avoided, long-distance transportation of the immersed tube crossing the deep sea area is achieved, the built immersed tube tunnel prefabrication factory can be repeatedly utilized, new project investment is saved, and the construction period of a prefabrication site is shortened.
