The invention relates to a method for improving the tensile property of a quartz fiber reinforced silicon dioxide composite material, which takes a quartz fiber preform as a reinforcing phase and silicon dioxide as a matrix, and is used for preparing the quartz fiber preform reinforced silicon dioxide composite material by the following steps: firstly, weaving quartz fibers into a preform according to a certain weaving structure; the preparation method comprises the following steps: firstly, carrying out primary vacuum/pressure impregnation on a preform, then pretreating the preform, removing an impregnating compound on the surface of the preform, then clamping the preform by using a clamping plate during primary vacuum/pressure impregnation, and then completing molding of a composite material blank through circulation of multiple cycles of vacuum/pressure impregnation, drying, sintering and other working procedures. The method is simple in step and obvious in effect, and the quartz fiber reinforced silicon dioxide composite material with relatively high tensile property can be obtained by tightening the space between the clamping plates.
