The method comprises the following steps: soaking a fabric preform with a supporting mold in an organic solvent to remove an impregnating compound; then placing in a mold, carrying out silicon dioxide sol vacuum impregnation, drying, removing the shaped prefabricated body from the supporting mold, and then carrying out drying and high-temperature heat treatment to obtain a cover body blank; and placing the cover body blank in a mold, carrying out silicon dioxide sol vacuum impregnation, taking out, rotating by using a rotating tool, feeding into a drying oven, carrying out drying and high-temperature heat treatment, repeating for multiple times, and carrying out mechanical finish machining to obtain the quartz fiber reinforced silicon dioxide antenna cover. According to the method, the silicon dioxide sol does not need to be concentrated, the sol can be repeatedly used without being subjected to a gelation process, and the prepared antenna housing is excellent in uniformity.
