The invention discloses a top-down construction method for a steel reinforced concrete composite structure. The construction method comprises the following steps that S1, water, cement, a reinforcing agent, aggregate and other materials are put into a stirring machine to be stirred and mixed; s2, positioning according to a drawing, and constructing a first section of steel column after bottom ribs of the raft plate are bound; s3, construction of second and third sections of steel columns is conducted according to the position of the first section of steel column; s4, steel truss hoisting is conducted after the steel columns are completed; s5, the crawler crane retreats to install the single truss, and the tower crane is matched with inlaying before hook loosening; and S6, the first-layer concrete structure and the second-layer concrete structure are constructed. Concrete structure construction is carried out after steel structure construction is completed and a stressed whole is formed, namely, the steel structure is constructed to the top layer firstly, then lower civil engineering construction is carried out alternately, and compared with a forward construction method, the reverse construction method can effectively reduce cross operation of different types of work, facilitates site construction organization, can effectively save the construction period, and improves the construction efficiency.
