The invention discloses a preparation method of a pressureless sintered refractory material, which comprises the following steps: step 1, uniformly mixing refractory aggregate and polyvinyl alcohol, and then loading into a mold for preforming; 2, carrying out cold isostatic pressing treatment on the preformed mixed powder; and step 3, carrying out microwave firing on the mixed powder after isostatic cool pressing. The mixed powder is pretreated through cold isostatic pressing, and firing can be carried out under the non-pressure condition of microwave firing.
