The invention relates to a preparation method of a pressureless sintered silicon carbide ceramic sheet, which comprises the following steps: preparing gel casting slurry: mixing a monomer, a cross-linking agent, a dispersing agent, a pH value regulator and ultrapure water to obtain premixed liquid, and stirring the premixed liquid at a high speed to obtain mixed slurry; preparing a green body: adding a catalyst into the prepared mixed slurry, performing vacuum defoaming, adding an initiator to obtain a prefabricated mixture, injecting the prefabricated mixture into a mold, and performing gel curing to obtain the green body; and drying the green body: putting the demolded green body at a polyvinylidene fluoride film for vacuum filtration, then putting the green body into a high-molecular-weight polyethylene glycol solution for soaking, and finally taking out the green body and putting the green body into a constant-temperature drying box for heating and drying to obtain the silicon carbide thin plate. The method has the effects of improving the production efficiency and being low in production cost.
