The invention provides a coal gangue filling material composite admixture and a preparation method thereof, the coal gangue filling material composite admixture can ensure the conveying stability of a coal gangue paste filling material in a pipeline and shorten the coagulation and curing time, and the coal gangue filling material composite admixture comprises the following components: 15-20% of aluminum sulfate, 5-10% of zeolite powder, 4-8% of lithium salt slag, 1.5-2.5% of calcium chloride, 0.5-1% of a modifier, 0.02-0.05% of a stabilizer and the balance of water. The preparation method comprises the following steps: 1) adding the stabilizer and the modifier into an aqueous solution, and uniformly mixing to obtain a first mixed solution; 2) slowly adding aluminum sulfate and calcium chloride into the first mixed solution, and uniformly mixing to obtain a second mixed solution; and 3) adding zeolite powder and lithium salt slag into the second mixed solution, and uniformly mixing to obtain the coal gangue filling material composite admixture. The addition amount of the composite admixture in the coal gangue filling material is 6-8 kg/m < 3 >.
