The asphalt concrete core wall dam provided by the embodiment of the invention is simple and easy to implement, the phenomenon that the transition materials are squeezed into the core wall in the construction process of the asphalt concrete core wall can be effectively eliminated due to mutual constraint of the asphalt concrete core wall and the transition materials on the two sides, and then the construction quality of the asphalt concrete core wall is improved; and the service performance of the asphalt concrete core wall is improved.
