The invention relates to high-strength lightweight concrete which is characterized by being prepared from the following components in parts by weight: 200 to 230 parts of Portland cement, 160 to 180 parts of mineral powder, 140 to 160 parts of fly ash, 30 to 50 parts of floating beads, 40 to 60 parts of rubber particles, 220 to 260 parts of ceramsite, 300 to 350 parts of pottery sand, 10 to 13 parts of a water reducing agent, 3.5 to 5.5 parts of an exciting agent, 5.5 to 8.5 parts of a tackifier and 160 to 180 parts of water. The invention also provides a preparation method of the concrete. Portland cement, mineral powder and fly ash are mixed to obtain a cementing material for later use; mixing ceramsite with pottery sand to obtain lightweight aggregate for later use; the high-strength lightweight concrete is prepared by adding the lightweight aggregate into the cementing material, uniformly stirring, and adding the high-performance reducing agent, the exciting agent, the tackifier and the water. On the basis of adopting ceramsite and pottery sand with lower specific gravity as aggregate, the strength of the concrete is ensured by adopting superfine mineral powder and a high-efficiency exciting agent, and the volume weight of the concrete is reduced on the basis of maintaining the performance of the concrete, so that the purposes of high strength and light weight are achieved.
