A main cable pre-tightening machine comprises a fastening machine frame, a walking system is arranged on the top of the fastening machine frame, an impact system and a fastening system are arranged in the fastening machine frame, the fastening system comprises two fastening air cylinders and two shifting fork levers, and two fastening steel wire ropes are connected between the two shifting fork levers. The two fastening air cylinders are fixed to the outer side faces of the two sides of the fastening rack respectively, the impact system comprises two impact type pneumatic hammers, a vibration plate and a plurality of spring buffers, the spring buffers are fixedly installed on the top of the inner side of the fastening rack, the vibration plate is connected to the lower ends of the spring buffers, and the impact type pneumatic hammers are fixedly connected to the inclined upper portions of the two sides of the vibration plate respectively. The fastening force of the fastening steel wire rope on the main cable is adjusted through the fastening air cylinder, the impact type pneumatic hammer is adopted to replace manual work to beat the main cable, the main cable pre-tightening speed and quality are improved, and the construction cost is reduced.
