The invention discloses a mechanical connector and a precast concrete pile. The mechanical connector comprises an inserting rod and a connecting piece. A double-dovetail taper wedge clamping structure is arranged between the plug of the inserting rod and the elastic piece of the connecting piece, and when the elastic piece is in a free state, the diameter of the small-diameter end of the double-dovetail taper clamping groove is smaller than or equal to the diameter of the small-diameter end of the double-dovetail taper clamping table. When the plug is inserted into the connecting piece, the plug and the elastic piece achieve clamping connection of the inserting rod and the connecting piece through the double-dovetail taper wedge clamp.
